Our thanks and congratulations go to the tireless energetic concert organizers of Kitchener. What a vibrant and committed community!

Their commitment and dedication to the fulfillment SKL’s vision is simply heartwarming. They have far surpassed all expectations by successfully filling the concert venue with 400 supporters, and raising $8,000 (including donations) which will go toward the construction of our 3rd school. A tremendous accomplishment, not to mention a significant one in the history of our organization. Last but not least, SKL would like to offer a special thank you to Mr. Khambay and Phouthone Vilaykeo for making this concert a blasting success.

Along with the huge success of the SKL Inc. Charity Concert in Kitchener, Ontario, we are thrilled to welcome the newest addition to the SKL family: The Kitchener Chapter.

Our first concert in Vancouver was a blast.

Approximately 600 concert goers packed the dance floor. Panoy, our volunteer performer, put on an un-parallel perfomance never seen in Canada.

SKL Inc. would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Bounmy Simmavong, Inpone Luangaphay for organizing the concert and their hospitality. Last but not least, the Laotian community in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, for their support.

We are pleased to announce that the construction of the Ban Non Somboun Primary School has finally started on June 3, 2010.

Thanks to our generous donors, supporters, volunteers, our Youth members, and of course, all our committee members, the new fully furnished three-classroom school will replace the dilapidated present structures.
