Ban Non Somboun (BNS) Elementary School is located 43 km East of Vientiane in BNS, Pak Ngeum District, Vientiane.
It is a poor, but growing village that consists of 94 families, 479 inhabitants who are, for the most part, subsistence farmers. The village's existing education establishment accommodates 64 school children, 34 girls and 30 boys from grades 1 to 3.
The existing school structure is in poor dilapidated condition with dirt floor, broken bamboo, twisted corrugated metal walls, and broken furniture.
The project for building the new school in BNS will employ the same blueprint as the one from our first project because both villages are similar in population size.
