Ban Thachampa School

The Grand Opening was celebrated on the morning of December 24th, 2008 in Ban Thachampa, Laos.

 

SKL's first school building project is Ban Thachampa primary school which is situated in Saythani district, 46km North East of Vientiane. Ban Thachampa is the least developed of all 104 villages in the Saythani district. It is a farming community consisting of 90 families.  They are villagers who live off their harvests and livestock.  Its existing school is in very poor condition.  The new Ban Thachampa school will welcome a much improved learning environment for these children.  Ban Thachampa project is scheduled for completion by December 2008.
