School for Kids in Laos Inc. is a registered charity, and humanitarian organization with one simple mission: building schools for children in rural regions of Laos who are in critical need of an adequate learning environment.

Education is a vehicle for knowledge. This knowledge enables people to make more informed decisions and alleviates poverty, thus creating a better tomorrow.

100% of all donations go toward the construction of schools.

3. Radio-Canada - Radio (CBC/ CKSB 1050 AM), Thursday, March 31, 2011 16:30 PM - Featuring Setha Phanlouvong, Cédric Jounot and Jonny Olsen playing Khene instrument.

4. Setha Phanlouvong, Cédric Jounot and Jonny Olsen will be interviewed on Radio-Canada - Television (CBC/ Winnipeg) at 8:30 AM Saturday, April 2, 2011. Jonny Olsen is expected to give a short music rendering of the khene instrument live on TV.

You can adopt a project

A great way to help is to adopt one of these small projects.

Whether as a group, business or individual, you can adopt a smaller project and help build a part of the school while being recognized. A granite plate acknowledging you or your group will be issued and installed on the structures being sponsored.

We are looking for sponsors for the following projects:

Ban Ngiew School

1. Clean Water Project ($2,000.00)
- provides clean running water to the school.
2. School furniture Project ($1,500.00)
- includes benches, desks, chairs, chalk board and other amenities for learning.
3. Washrooms Project ($2,500.00)
- 4 washrooms for girls and boys (detached).
