📢 Now Underway: Don Phoung Primary School (2025)
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Project 13: Don Phoung Primary School, in Xanakham District, Vientiane Province.
Thanks to a generous lead contribution from PRÉCI—a team of six engineering students from ÉTS (École de technologie supérieure – Université du Québec à Montréal)—this project is now possible. PRÉCI is providing the majority of the funding and working closely in partnership with SKL to build a five-classroom school with furniture, washrooms, clean water, and electricity.
The current structure is unsafe and termite-infested, forcing some children to attend school in nearby villages. Demolition will begin in late June, with construction starting September 1 and completion expected by mid-December 2025.
This inspiring cross-cultural partnership highlights the power of youth-driven leadership and international collaboration.
💡 Now Fundraising: Huay Namyen Primary School (2025 or 2026)
We are proud to launch Project 14: Huay Namyen Primary School, located in Longxan District, Xaysomboun Province.
This remote Hmong village urgently needs a new school. With no adequate classrooms, 76 primary-aged children are left without access to basic education. The new five-classroom school will be fully equipped with furniture, clean water, washrooms, and electricity.
We’re now officially beginning our fundraising campaign for this project. Once we reach 90% of our funding goal, construction will begin.
